The Big Friday Premier League Quiz

All eyes will be on the race for the top four in the Premier League again this weekend, with Manchester United and Tottenham tussling at Old Trafford.

Both sides have fallen behind Arsenal in recent weeks, with the Gunners having at least a game in hand on each of their rivals, but a victory for either team could provide a little extra belief.

Certainly given United s poor defensive record and Harry Kane s habit of scoring on the road, Spurs will fancy themselves in with a decent chance.

And that seamlessly takes us into this week s Opta-powered quiz. You ll find the answers at the bottom of the page… No cheating!

1. Tottenham s Harry Kane has scored 93 goals in 137 Premier League away games – one more will see him equal the record. Who currently holds that record?

2. This weekend, Arsenal face Leicester City, against whom they have had four players net Premier League hat-tricks, a haul bettered by no other team. Who are those four players?

3. Of all Premier League fixtures to have seen at least 30 goals scored, only Manchester United vs Sheffield United has an earlier average first goal (11 minutes) than Southampton vs Watford. That s helped by the competition s earliest goal being scored after eight second in April 2019 – who scored that goal?

4. Wolves Raul Jimenez has scored in all five of his Premier League appearances against Everton, netting five goals in total. In the competition s history, only one player has a better 100 per cent record of scoring against a single opponent. Who is it?

5. Newcastle United have won just one of their previous 27 trips to Stamford Bridge. Which manager was in charge for that solitary success?
